Andrew and I had a talk about Expectations and relationships the other night.

"What do you expect from me in our relationship?" I asked him towards the end.

In my mind, I already had the answer he would give: That I take care of the baby, take care of household tasks like cooking and shopping and cleaning. Stuff like that.

And in my mind, I had some vague ideas of what I expected from him, and they were all task-oriented, like Earn Money, Learn To Drive, Take Care Of The Yard, Pay The Utility Bills.

That's why Andrew's answer made me quickly stop and reevaluate what I was going to say to him. He said: "My expectations of you are that we always put each other first, and that we work to build a future together."
